part about all this is that everything I said is well documented. From Sony's high price point, the lackluster development tools, outcry from the development community, who are not just PC developers, even Hideo Kojima had issues with Sony's hardware. How long is it taking "Killzone 2" to come out? Look at multiplatform development. There is always an excuse for why Sony doesn't have its act together. What about the online service? Although it's free it's shades behind what Xb...
Although most of what is said in the article I can agree with to a certain extent. The author and most commenting don't understand that in terms of marketing, and having key components ready to go for a WORLD WIDE launch. Microsoft had to have many things in order, delaying the system by more than a month would have had them miss the holiday 2005 buying season.
Another thing both Blu-ray and HD-DVD were still working out their issues with one another so Microsoft had to pick a re...
that, Halo 3 feels more like a universe you are participating in. As a game and overall experience I don't feel that from Killzone or R2. Both of which first games were decent, I'd say they tried to in many respects. Just didn't deliver a compelling feeling of me caring about what was going on with their stories. You can't help but be sucked into the Halo universe.
Are gloating way too much, especially with the track record of reviews, and scores for many games on the system. I'd be humble, because there is still an impression out there that the PS3 doesn't have good games. The fact that they are waiting for titles that sell like most 360 games is a very real testament the system is not out the woods.
At the same time I can't blame the fanboys. The hype around Too Human was kind of insane also. At the same time "Killzone" for the...
Is not in my top ten of games I'm looking forward to on the Xbox 360. So it being exclusive to the PS3 is cool. I was playing MGS4 and really trying to understand why fans on the 360 would want it. It's a great game, but just get a PS3 for it. Maybe because of the titles coming out this year both exclusive and multiplatform for the 360 I don't care much about many of the titles. I'm truly looking forward to DLC for GTA4, I purposely didn't buy the game because I didn't want to finish it and h...
PM dude...You guys are doing some good work. Just like I thought GTA4 is going to be cheaper, bigger and spark sales. I understand how many fanboys feel about the PS3, but honestly I don't see it dominating this holiday. Definitely picking up steam but not dominant.
Microsoft has limited the amount of Xbox 360 stock they put into Japan. Which was one of the things they spoke about early this year. It may not have been out of stock but quantities of the system are not in many Japanese territories. Really not hard to see.
I find it even more hilarious that a difference of 4000 units makes them week compared to the PS3. Yet in the same sentence we see the Wii at 50,000 plus...So what is the PS3 in relation to the Wii in Japan.
Ported TF2...Valve did not develop the PS3 version. I can't argue with how PS3 gamers feel, but at the same time I can't blame a forward moving developer that sees the PS3 as a development hassle. This is how many felt when EA decided that the PS2 would be better for Madden than the Dreamcast. Yet they were a multiplatform developer...This is something that has been done many a time...It's unfortunate...
We have yet to play the game or get an idea of what kind of maps we will be playing on...I mean 10 is a damn good number. Why do people just jump to conclusions and hate? Besides if it is coming soon after it could be a bunch of things, and yes I believe they are working on content and refining the game as we speak. Gears 2 is going to rock out, and paying for the content may not be great, but at least it will for a title that actually returns the value...
is ugly, and I also hate using a keyboard on our Xbox 360, so the headset is my movie. I know a couple of people who have the message pad for the 360 and they love it.
Also you don't see this type of design on a cell phone, it's just not a comfortable layout to have keys on the top...Anyway who cares.
Reading the fanboys hate on a game they have yet to see because there was no mention of "Heavy Rain" or "Killzone 2" characterizes why the PS3 is where it is. Both those games have been in development longer than Bayonetta. So if you want to give those games some credit, how about the credit for finally being finished and being put out...Cause you know looking at videos and pics don't add up to gameplay in your hand.
It's true you can't make everyone happy. Perhaps Microsoft is trying out the controller before they announce a mass roll out. They haven't slighted 360 gamers when it comes to peripherals. I do agree that the only problem with the HDD solution is that it's to expensive. Other than that this new controller is a small but welcome upgrade.
that when you go over to most PS3 threads on N4G.com. You rarely find as many as many 360 gamers there. Yet in every 360 thread there are tons...Like this one for example. Hate is such a powerful thing. I just left the God of War 3 thread, and for two whole pages I saw nothing but PS3 fans in exuberance. I'm waiting to see that for a 360 thread...Just imagine, no haters...At least for once
